Nats win draft lottery for No. 1 pick; Angels at 2
Briefly

The Washington Nationals will have the first pick in the 2025 MLB draft for the third time in franchise history after winning the draft lottery.
Despite having the fourth-best odds at 10.8%, the Nationals managed to secure the top pick, while the team with the best odds, the Marlins, fell to seventh.
The Nationals previously had the first overall pick last year, but due to revenue-sharing rules, they were not eligible for the pick again this year.
The Nationals hope to repeat past successes with No. 1 picks, having previously selected Stephen Strasburg in 2009 and Bryce Harper in 2010.
