MSI's Claw handhelds get an Intel Lunar Lake do-over with a $799 starting price

MSI has officially announced the Claw 7 AI Plus and Claw 8 AI Plus handhelds, addressing past criticisms by improving battery life and performance significantly.
The Claw 8 features an 80-watt-hour battery compared to the original's 53 watt hours, while the Claw 7 has an increase to 54.5 watt hours.
Both new handhelds boast a 120Hz variable refresh rate LCD display, with the Claw 8 having a resolution of 1920 x 1200, ahead of the Claw 7's 1920 x 1080.
MSI claims a performance boost, stating the new models have 113 percent higher peak FPS and 20 percent higher average FPS than their competitors under the same conditions.
