Approximately 2,636 vehicles were seized by gardai for various offences, showcasing the comprehensive enforcement actions taken to improve road safety during the holiday season.
To date, 174 people have lost their lives in road traffic collisions on Irish roads in 2024, highlighting ongoing concerns about road safety in Ireland.
