"The idea is to use lines you know to narrow it down," Honer wrote SFGATE in an email. Players can leverage route geography or line names to make educated guesses.
"Muni is iconic and beloved," she wrote, highlighting feedback from users who've shared personal stories about routes that hold significance in their communities.
"No app does that well," she explained, calling it a streamlined tool for seasoned riders.
Currently living abroad, she sees the game as a way to reconnect with San Francisco. "I hope to finish my degree and come back," Honer wrote.
