AC Monza has appointed Salvatore Bocchetti as the new head coach, signing him to a contract until June 2027, following the dismissal of Alessandro Nesta.
Following a poor run of results, Alessandro Nesta was relieved of his duties after nine consecutive matches without a victory, leaving Monza at the bottom of Serie A.
Bocchetti, who previously was a caretaker at Hellas Verona, will make his Monza debut in a crucial match against Parma, a direct relegation rival.
Nesta's tenure saw a dismal performance with only three wins in twenty games, leading to Monza's decision to seek a new direction under Bocchetti.
