After being freed from a notorious Syrian prison following a rebel offensive, Travis Timmerman, an American, detailed his experiences and his journey toward Jordan.
Timmerman described how his cell door was 'busted down' by armed men during the chaos, adding that he was surprised by the lack of resistance once he escaped.
Despite his harrowing experience, Timmerman noted that his imprisonment was 'not too bad' and shared that he had not been physically beaten during his detention.
Since his freedom, Timmerman emphasized gratitude for the assistance he's received from strangers and acknowledged moments of fear on his way to safety.
