Four military-style drones breached a no-fly zone over Dublin Bay as President Volodymyr Zelensky's plane approached Dublin Airport, but the aircraft avoided the drones by arriving ahead of schedule. Ireland's justice minister Jim O'Callaghan described the incident as part of a coordinated threat to EU and Ukrainian interests and said the drones certainly wasn't a back garden drone enthusiast. O'Callaghan declined to determine whether the attack was state-sponsored. The Gardai's Special Detective Unit and the Defence Forces are investigating with international partners. The National Security Council will provide the Taoiseach a comprehensive report within a week. Ireland plans increased spending on anti-drone capabilities.
