Micheal Martin takes aim at Fine Gael record in health and housing, says 'Irish elections are not foregone conclusions'

Mr. Martin emphasized the importance of responsibility in governance, saying, "We were eager to take responsibility for Health because we reject the idea that nothing can be done, or that you should run away from responsibility for Health."

He mentioned the unpredictability of elections, stating, "Irish elections are not and should not be foregone conclusions. There have been major swings in support during elections in every election for the past 20 years."
