Michael Lowry says he is 'confident' he has no liability as file sent to DPP on Moriarty tribunal findings

Former Government minister Michael Lowry expressed his confidence regarding his lack of liability in light of the ongoing investigation by the Garda as the file moves to the Director of Public Prosecutions, following the Moriarty tribunal findings that linked him to Denis O'Brien in securing a mobile phone licence.

Both Taoiseach Simon Harris and Tánaiste Michael Martin have remained tight-lipped on their opinions concerning Mr. Lowry's fitness for office, which raises questions ahead of significant government formation discussions.
