Eddie Murphy revealed in an interview with Collider that DreamWorks is well aware of the value of its IP, confirming two new movies in the Shrek franchise.
Murphy stated that he is partway through the voice recording for Shrek 5, which began months ago and is set for release in 2025.
In addition to Shrek 5, Murphy will also reprise his role as Donkey in a forthcoming Donkey spinoff film, which is yet to start recording.
The excitement extends to potential creative ideas, such as a dinner party format with Donkey and Dragon, alongside popular characters like Gingy and Pinocchio.
