Meraki Could Be the New Face of Chinese Espresso Machines. It's a Handsome Face
Briefly

The Meraki provides user-friendly operation with extensive customization, including dosing by weight, adjustable water temperature, and optional pre-infusion. The steam wand offers mild-to-strong settings with an automatic shutoff at the selected temperature to prevent scalding and preserve milk sugars; practical use may stop a few degrees lower than set. The integrated pentagonal conical burr grinder performs strongly across light, medium, and dark roasts, producing a tight particle distribution with fewer large particles and good consistency. The built-in grinder rivals standalone options on taste and extraction metrics, though light roasts may require dose adjustments rather than extreme fining.
Aloingside dosing by weight, the steam wand allows for a bit of control as well, with settings from mild to strong. "Strong" means strong, for big cappuccino froth: heed the warning, and keep your milk levels low in the frothing cup, or you'll probably have cleanup. But especially, the steam wand offers an automatic shutoff at your desired temp, so you don't accidentally burn off milk sugars. In practice, it'll probably stop a few degrees lower than you set it, so plan accordingly.
More espresso machines should do this. A ll of this. But very few do. Jump into the custom settings, and you can also add a pre-infusion-a lower-pressure water infusion, for more gentle soaking of the grounds. And of course you can adjust the temperature of your water, to account for lighter or darker roasts. It's all pretty easy to do.
