Men Are Sharing The Small But Impactful Things They Do To Help Women Feel Safer
Briefly

In an ideal and utopic world, women wouldn't need to be hyper-vigilant about their surroundings because we wouldn't need to worry about being in harm's way. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
I do this to anyone I'm dropping off, but I especially take extra care to ensure my lady friends and female relatives are safely inside the house before driving off.
Whenever my friend would go meet a plug she didn't feel safe around or know well, I'd meet up with her a block or so away from their meeting place and hide in her trunk... my friend told me she always felt safe with a 'trunk goblin' on standby.
I won't get into an elevator alone with a woman. I know I'm not a threat, but she doesn't. I'm happy to wait another two or three minutes to make sure she feels safe.
