RSPCA's Jade Guthrie reflected on the rescue, saying, "It looks like the cat was living feral for a long time and was looked after for many years by our caller who thought she was a stray."
Vivien shared her persistent hope, asserting, "I never gave up on Charlotte. I really wanted to move away from where I lived but it felt like something was keeping me here."
After the reunion, Vivien noted, "Soon Charlotte was the centre of attention at Vivien's home where she was able to spend time with her owner and her son Harley."
