McClung's 4 perfect dunks clinch historic 3-peat
Briefly

Mac McClung made history by winning his third consecutive Slam Dunk Contest, becoming the first player to achieve this feat. During the event, he impressed the audience by leaping over a Kia sedan, a nod to Blake Griffin's memorable Dunk Contest prop in 2011. McClung's performance included four dunks scoring 50 points, joining an elite group in Dunk Contest history. In the 3-point Contest, Tyler Herro emerged victorious, adding his name to the Miami Heat's list of champions, as Damian Lillard aimed for a third title but fell short.
Despite the eye-popping tone sitter, McClung would find himself in a hotly-contested finals showdown with San Antonio rookie guard Stephon Castle, who logged a score of 99.6 in the last round and narrowly finished second.
I felt like my third dunk should have been a 50. We could've [gone] to a dunk off. I don't know if that's what the crowd would've wanted. But overall, I was happy with it.
