Geraldo Rivera expressed his disdain for Matt Gaetz's nomination for attorney general, stating, "When I heard that Matt Gaetz was picked to be attorney general, I threw up in my mouth. I think it is a horrible, creepy choice."
Rivera criticized Gaetz as embodying the corruption in Washington: "He is someone who is a privileged, entitled, backstabbing. There's no way the Republicans in the Senate will confirm this man."
Host Leland Vittert highlighted the Democrats' focus on Gaetz's flaws instead of issues important to Americans, to which Rivera responded that Gaetz would undermine the DOJ's independence.
Rivera concluded his critique on social media calling Gaetz a 'douche' and expressing that Gaetz's nomination is 'so bad for Attorney General.'
