Jack Bilodeau, an 81-year-old man from Westford, drowned after a possible medical event while swimming near his drifting boat on Lake Winnisquam. A good Samaritan quickly intervened after seeing Bilodeau briefly submerge, pulling him from the water. Life-saving efforts were performed on the shore until first responders arrived. Bilodeau was transported to Concord Hospital-Laconia, where he was later pronounced dead. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.

Bilodeau was last seen having a possible medical event in the water and briefly submerged before being quickly pulled out of the lake by a good Samaritan.
The good Samaritan performed life-saving efforts on Bilodeau back on the shore until first responders arrived and took him to Concord Hospital-Laconia, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
