According to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United are interested in signing Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret, with Inter Milan also keen on acquiring the Italy international.
Plettenberg mentioned, "The contract of Alex Meret from SSC Napoli expires at the end of the season, and it is still unclear whether it will be extended. There are already concrete inquiries."
Meret has been with Napoli since the summer of 2018 and has been impressive this season, making 11 appearances in Serie A and eight in the UEFA Champions League.
Manchester United's current number one goalkeeper is Andre Onana, while they are also looking to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon.
