Shortly after 6:15am, local Gardaí, Armed Support Unit and Emergency Services personnel responded to reports of a violent disturbance involving two armed males at St Cuthbert's Court, Clondalkin. Upon arrival, Gardaí discovered a male in his 20s with serious injuries."

A hatchet and a knife were recovered and taken for technical examination. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and asking anyone with information to contact Clondalkin Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line. Investigations are ongoing.
