Man arrested following 'violent incident' involving two armed men in Dublin as gardai appeal for witnesses
"Gardaí at Clondalkin are appealing for witnesses following a violent incident in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, on Wednesday, 12th November 2025. Shortly after 6:15am, local Gardaí, Armed Support Unit and Emergency Services personnel responded to reports of a violent disturbance involving two armed males at St Cuthbert's Court, Clondalkin. Upon arrival, Gardaí discovered a male in his 20s with serious injuries."
"The injured man was treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A second male, also in his 20s, was arrested at the scene. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in west Dublin. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-666 7600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111. Investigations are ongoing."

A hatchet and a knife were recovered and taken for technical examination.
