Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on Lower Rathmines Road, where a vehicle left the scene after hitting a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, an adult male in his 40s, has been taken to St. James's Hospital with serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Traffic diversions are currently in place while the scene is preserved for further investigation. Gardaí urge the public to come forward with information.
Motorists with dash-cam footage from the area at the time of the incident are particularly encouraged to provide any relevant recordings to the investigators.
