A man, aged in his 40s, who was arrested as part of the investigation, is currently detained at a Garda station in the Eastern Region where he can be detained for up to 24 hours."
"Gardaí said a vehicle has also been recovered. Investigating Gardaí at Trim Garda Station continue to appeal to the public for information. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area of Batterstown, Ballivor, Co. Meath, between 9.30am and 10am on Friday, September 12, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí. Gardai added that investigations are continuing and further updates will follow."
