A man in his thirties has died following a single-vehicle collision in Tullamore shortly before midnight on August 4th. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and seeking any road users who may have camera footage from the area around 11:40pm to midnight. The body was transferred to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination. The R420 has been closed for investigation by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Separately, a 19-year-old cyclist injured in a July 27 incident also died on August 4th, with a similar appeal for witnesses issued.
