A serious injury road traffic collision occurred at Curragh Hall at approximately 8.20pm when a female child was struck by a Surron type e-bike that failed to remain at the scene. The child has been taken to Temple Street Hospital and is receiving treatment for serious injuries. A man in his 20s has been arrested and is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in North Dublin. No other injuries were reported. Gardaí are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage from Tyrellstown, especially Curragh Hall Crescent between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, and have provided contact numbers.
