Major supermarket in Romford town centre spotted on Rightmove

The ground floor retail unit that houses Iceland, in Market Place, Romford, is listed on the property website for offers in excess of 800,000.
Iceland has an internal floor area of almost 7,000 square feet and forms part of a mixed-use building built between 2007 and 2008.
The listing says the supermarket pays 67,500 in rent per year - equal to 9.66 in rent per square foot.
A spokesperson for Iceland confirmed that the Market Place store is not closing, but the building is up for sale.
