Drivers are being warned of a major motorway closure this weekend. The closure at Junction 1 of the M20 for safety improvements will greatly enhance road user safety.
The new barrier is expected to boost safety for road users and require less maintenance in the future, reflecting our commitment to improving infrastructure.
Amelia Yeodal, National Highways programme development manager, stated, 'Completing this safety upgrade over the weekend - when traffic levels are lower - is the most effective way to do that.'
We appreciate people's understanding and patience while we do this, and would just remind road users to allow extra time to complete their journeys.
