Luas services affected as large fire breaks out at Dublin city centre's IFSC

A fire erupted at George's Dock near the IFSC building, prompting a response from Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade. Initially, three fire engines along with senior officers were dispatched to manage the situation. Firefighters utilized 70mm hoses and later augmented their resources with four fire engines, a foam tender, and a water tanker, drawing water from the River Liffey. Additionally, Luas red line services were suspended between Busáras and The Point, with alternate transport arrangements communicated to passengers.
Three fire engines along with senior officers are on scene at a fire at George's Dock near the IFSC. Firefighters are using 70mm hoses to control the fire and cool adjacent exposures.
In an update at 10pm on Tuesday, the Dublin Fire Brigade said firefighting operations are continuing and we now have four fire engines, a foam tender and water tanker at the scene.
Luas red line services are suspended between Busáras and The Point due to the incident and are only in operation between Tallaght/Saggart and Connolly Station.
Passengers, please be advised Red Line services are currently only operating from Tallaght/Saggart to Connolly. There is currently no service from Busáras to The Point.
