"We're thrilled to introduce the Lindt Dubai Chocolate Bar to the U.S. for the first time this holiday season, and there's no better place to launch it than New York City," said Ann Czaja, Lindt master chocolatier, in an official statement. "Our master chocolatiers have skillfully crafted the ingredients by hand, allowing chocolate lovers to taste the global flavor sensation that's taken the world by storm in an unforgettable, luxurious experience."
The Dubai treat is filled with pistachio cream and crispy kadayif, a traditional Turkish dessert made up of shredded pastry layered, soaked in honey and often topped with nuts. This delight is a unique spin inspired by flavors found in Dubai.
The bars dressed to the nines for their New York debut, too: they'll be sold in luxurious packaging that will go for $14.99 each. Anyone who manages to get their hands on a Dubai chocolate bar will receive a special certificate and other complimentary Lindt products to take home.
