Lindsey Vonn confirmed her World Cup comeback at St Moritz, stating, 'I hear St Moritz is nice this time of year,' expressing excitement after nearly six years away.
Vonn, who left ski racing due to injuries, said about her comeback: 'My body is finally put back together... If you have an opportunity you have to take it.'
After retiring with 82 World Cup victories, Vonn plans to compete in two super-G races using a new invitation system for former champions.
Reflecting on her recent lower-level competition runs, Vonn noted, 'Some say I was slow but I think it was great,' marking her enthusiasm for the return.
