Late Late Show cancelled this Friday - but RTE says there's a good reason and show will return next week with major guest

The chat show will have a break for one week only and will not air tomorrow, November 8, as Patrick Kielty and The Late Late Show team record their New Year's Eve special.

Kielty reminded viewers to tune in next week and told the audience at the end of the previous episode: "Remember, we're not here next week. But we will be back on Friday, November 15, with the star of Gladiator II, Mr Paul Mescal."
