"It was an obsession. I wanted a Juul tattoo. It embodied everything I wanted, the puff of a cigarette, the temperature control, and it was sleek," said "Jake," a 28-year-old who works in the vaping industry. He applied to the class action because he felt that Juul purposefully misrepresented its potency.
"I expected to score at most a couple of bucks from the judgment. Instead, Jake received more than $800," he continued. "It'll be funny to get a framed vintage tobacco ad with some of the money. The rest can go to furniture. Probably a new sofa."
