A spokeswoman for JPMorgan Chase confirmed that rumors of Jamie Dimon endorsing Donald Trump are not accurate, stating, "Dimon has not made an endorsement in the race."
Dimon emphasized his focus on policy rather than endorsements, stating, "I'm not endorsing anyone at this time. I spend more of my time on policy."
Previously, it was reported that Dimon was backing Trump’s GOP primary rival, Nikki Haley, attempting to sway other business leaders to do the same.
In a statement, Trump said he once viewed Dimon as a potential Treasury Secretary but later backtracked, denying any discussion about Dimon for the position.
