Judge Richard Boulware has provisionally approved a significant $375 million settlement in the antitrust lawsuit against UFC, initially filed in 2014 by fighter groups.
This lawsuit accused Zuffa of monopolizing the MMA market, limiting fighters' earnings through exclusive contracts, thus strengthening their control over elite professional fighter services.
Qualifying fighters from December 2010 to June 2017 are set to receive between $240 and $260 million in payouts from the UFC, marking a pivotal win.
While this settlement pertains to the Le class, another ongoing lawsuit involving UFC fighters from 2017 onwards may still lead to a separate resolution.
