Japan Airlines (JAL) has reported being hit with a cyber attack, causing delays to some flights, with ticket sales suspended for all services on Thursday.
We have identified the scope of the impact and are currently checking the status of the system recovery, JAL said, reflecting their proactive approach post-incident.
The airline added that there were delays to both domestic and international flights, confirming operational challenges without any mass cancellations.
All Nippon Airways, JAL's main rival, stated that it had not been impacted by the cyber attack and that services were operating normally.
