Irish economy not vulnerable after Trump victory, says Peter Burke

The Minister stated, 'Our economy is strong, diverse, with a robust life sciences and FinTech sector. Nine of the ten top global tech companies are in Ireland, highlighting our strong ecosystem and skills base.'

Discussing concerns over US corporate tax rates, the Minister expressed, 'I'm not worried about US lowering its company tax pulling businesses from Ireland... We offer more than just a low tax rate.'

Mr Burke highlighted that Ireland's strengths lie beyond just tax, stating, 'We have skills, a young population, and competitive advantages that attract global businesses, which cannot be easily replicated elsewhere.'
