Illinois' Johnson out indefinitely with broken wrist
Briefly

Illinois forward Morez Johnson Jr. has suffered a wrist injury that will sideline him indefinitely after he fell while making a block during a game against Michigan State. His coach, Brad Underwood, expressed deep concern for Johnson, highlighting the play's excellence. While Johnson's average playing time is modest, he ranks second on the team for rebounds. His absence will be felt as Illinois moves on without one of their contributors in an upcoming matchup against Wisconsin.
I feel terrible for that young man. What an incredible play. It's one of the best I've seen in a long time. Unfortunately, that injury happened.
He fell, he hit the floor pretty hard and was tough enough to bounce up and just say, 'Tape it.' That impacted a couple of his close misses at the rim as well late in the game.
