The Business Continuity Fund is intended to quickly help fact-checkers with temporary financial after business operations have been affected by a disruptive event.
"During challenging times that vary by culture and context, the IFCN stands ready to assist fact-checkers so they can carry out their important work," said IFCN Director Angie Drobnic Holan.
Up to $20,000 is available for each eligible applicant to support staff, replace damaged equipment, or restore internet connectivity.
An additional smaller fund will make available grants of up to $5,000 per signatory for mental health assistance.
