Hurricane Milton, making landfall as a Category 3 storm near Siesta Key, left over 3 million customers without power and spawned 150 tornadoes across Florida.

While the storm wreaked havoc, causing at least four deaths, Governor Ron DeSantis indicated that the situation was not the worst-case scenario, as Tampa was spared a direct hit.
