The London Borough of Bexley has announced a £220,000 revamp of Danson Splash Park, aiming to enhance water play areas and make them more accessible.
Councillor Richard Diment emphasized, 'We're making a significant investment... because we know how important these are for local families, particularly those who don't have gardens.'
The new design will feature waist-level water activation posts to enhance accessibility for those with disabilities and mobility issues, making play inclusive for all children.
The improvements are designed not only to be environmentally friendly but also to encourage active play among children of varying ages, ensuring enjoyment for years ahead.
