The easiest way to join in on December 13th is by watching Swedish public broadcaster SVT's Lucia programme on SVT Play. You can watch it from anywhere in the world.
This year, SVT's Lucia programme is broadcast from Sala in Vastmanland, west of Uppsala. It includes a procession to Satra Brunns church, with music from Sjoviks Folk High School and Sala Youth Choir.
Depending on where you live, you might be able to attend a local event in person. These are often held the weekend after December 13th.
Try looking for Swedish interest groups or associations where you live who will often hold Lucia processions of their own.
