Hori is set to release its officially licensed Steam controller in the US on December 16, available for preorder at $60 on Amazon.
The controller features a dedicated Steam menu button, touch sensors on the joysticks for motion controls, and mappable back buttons enhancing user functionality.
While it lacks rumble and trackpad features, it connects via Bluetooth or USB-A and offers around 12 hours of usage on a full charge.
Valve's original Steam controller was discontinued in 2019, known for its configurability to accommodate varied gaming styles, a feature absent in Hori's version.
