The PATH train's Hoboken station is set to close from January 30 to February 25 for extensive repairs as part of a $430 million rehabilitation project. This initiative aims to enhance track and switch infrastructure. During the closure, alternative transportation methods, such as ferries and buses, will be available for passengers. Shuttle bus services will connect Hoboken riders to Newport and Exchange Place stations, while additional ferry services will operate every 10 minutes during peak periods to maintain access to Manhattan. Complementary NJ TRANSIT services will also be implemented to facilitate commuting during this period.
