Historic mansion's farm buildings to become 'religious training' accommodation
Briefly

The Havering Council approved Amana Trust's plan to refurbish and convert dilapidated farm buildings into accommodation for students, positively impacting the Conservation Area.
The planning officer's report indicated that while the buildings are in significant disrepair, the proposed development would enhance both the historical value of the site and its open green belt character.
Only one neighbor objected to the proposal, expressing concern over the village's character, but the council concluded that the development wouldn't harm the area's green belt integrity.
The project involves demolishing three poor-quality buildings, building two new ones, and preserving two others, providing a variety of residential accommodations for Amana Trust students.
