Here Is the Affordable Housing Project Slated to Rise on the Site of Oakland's Ghost Ship Fire
Briefly

Nearly eight years after the Ghost Ship fire, plans for an affordable housing complex on the site include an on-site memorial, reflecting community remembrance.
The Unity Council, alongside design firms Mithun and Yes Community Architects, is finalizing the architecture for the two-building complex but has yet to decide on a memorial design.
Logan Kelley noted in a statement that the teams are collaborating with a diverse group to ensure the memorial accurately reflects the tragedy and honors the victims.
The complex aims to transform the Ghost Ship site at 3037 International Boulevard into a space of healing and affordable living.
