Drivers are advised to avoid certain streets including Rockefeller Plaza and sections of 5th and 6th Avenues due to closures, ensuring more accessible passage home.
The Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center will be illuminated daily from 5am to midnight until mid-January, with a special 24-hour lighting on Christmas Eve.
