Lukas Kaunietis, 29, was at the Ryanair gate at Dublin Airport at 7am intending to fly to Lithuania when the gate was closed. He smashed computers and glasses from a nearby bar and rolled a barrel table down a walkway, causing more than €9,400 worth of damage. He pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal damage at Terminal One on March 17, 2025. The incident followed his missed flight. A one-year jail sentence was imposed for the criminal damage caused at the airport.
