In a recent episode of 'Severance', Gwendoline Christie, who portrays Lorne, the head of the Department of Mammalian Nurturability, revealed her unusual approach to maintaining suspense about the show's plot involving goats. As a fan of the series and curious about her character's background, Christie sought out hypnotherapy to forget crucial plot details, ensuring she experienced the second season without preconceived notions. This decision intrigued executive producer Ben Stiller, who humorously suggested that the entire cast might benefit from a similar experience after filming.
I've never tried it before. Lots of people have talked about how they used hypnotherapy to stop smoking and things. And, you know, I love the show, so I thought I'd try it. And it's worked.
Everybody on Severance should have that done. The entire cast and crew should do that after we finish the season.
