Guatemala finds children taken by Jewish sect after abuse investigation
Briefly

Guatemalan authorities have recovered several children from the Lev Tahor sect amidst allegations of human trafficking and child sexual abuse, claiming they faced religious persecution.
Nancy Paiz stated, 'Based on the statements of the complainants, the evidence obtained, and the medical examinations, it was possible to establish that there are forms of human trafficking against these minors, such as forced marriage, abuse and related crimes.'
Uriel Goldman expressed the family's desperation, asserting, 'We want them to let the children out of here,' highlighting the sect members' insistence on reclaiming the abducted minors.
Authorities indicated that on Sunday, members of the Lev Tahor sect invaded a shelter, attempting to reclaim the children after they were rescued in a police raid.
