The mummy, dubbed the 'golden boy', was about 14 or 15 years old at the time of death. According to a 2023 study, there was no evidence of trauma or disease that could explain his passing. He was interred with luxurious items, including a golden head mask and 49 amulets, suggesting he was honored at burial in a Ptolemaic cemetery.
