Greg Bozzo has declared victory in the Gilroy mayoral race after a tight contest against incumbent Mayor Marie Blankley, signaling a desire for change among residents.
When you look at the collective experiences of the people of Gilroy, we are capable of finally fixing our problems that have dogged us for years, and I believe in that now more than ever, said Bozzo.
Gilroy has so much more potential than it's living up to right now, and that's why (Gilroy residents) are voting for change, said Bozzo.
Bozzo said his first priority upon entering office would be to improve customer service in City Hall and review and renew the goals of Gilroy in collaboration with citizens and the city council.
