German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock emphasized the importance of Europe’s security, highlighting that China’s support of Russia through drone supply would directly affect diplomatic relations.
Baerbock urged China to 'engage constructively' with the EU on electric vehicle tariffs, which Germany opposes, fearing the consequences might hurt its automotive market.
In addressing trade, Baerbock stated, 'A level playing field, fair competition and reciprocal market conditions are essential,' revealing Germany's stance on EU tariffs.
During her visit to Beijing, Baerbock also planned to discuss human rights issues and strengthen ties with the German business community.
