RTÉ plans to reduce its workforce by 400 positions over the next five years. The reductions will occur through voluntary exit schemes, retirements, resignations and suppression of roles. Senior management outlined timelines and mechanisms to implement the exits and role suppressions while engaging with staff and committee oversight.
